OPTD IV Platinum version 4.24 guide (extended)
hello, i wanted to share a decent but good guide about how to beat the camping mode with less difficulties, this guide is for all versions but it's highly recommended to play on the newest version so you can use more legendary weapons ,skills... i gave up on v4.08 when i had difficulties against lucci but now i understode every thing and made this guide to help you
and idk and idc if many or few will read this but at least some one has to do it, thus expect the guide to be with the same length of long ring long land . but i hope you won't be stuck during a chapter in the story
GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
you know the long story of one piece but due to some reasons the story ends in the war summit chapter
EAST BLUE
NOTE: the other factions mission are have 2 purposes (beside the classic boss fight): finish a task under time limit or survive for many turns.
marines camping tells the adventure of coby and some strong marines officers in serving justice. the story starts from the end of sabody chapter until the war of marines HQ, you'll unlock this faction at the end of east blue saga but it's advised to finish it after Enis looby chapter, the beginning may be hard but it'll be easier if you follow the instructions
PROLOGUE:
this faction is unlocked when you finish grand line saga, thus expect it to be hard and enhanced cards and ultimate cards (optional but handful) are highly recommended, this faction shows the adventure of black beard and his crew, as well as his devilish plan to assassinate white bread and take both his power and position.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
- general informations:
- before we start i have to say that this guide is mainly to players on easy or medium mode hard mode players can also follow it but they have to train their crew so hard and equip the best of the best cards, if you are new in RPG game read the informations below otherwise skip it
----------------------------------GENEAL STATES------------------------------------------
LIFE: user's HP and you know what happens if it reaches 0
PWR: user's damage with melee hits
END: user's resistance against melee hits
RNG: user's damage with ranged hits
INT: user's resistance against ranged hits
SPD: user's speed, which is an indication of who attacks first, if you have low speed enemies will hit you(note: the only skills that aren't depending on skills are buffing, explosive ball ability and some franky skills)
HIT RATE: It's the result of dividing user's Accuracy rate on enemy evade rate, in other words the rate of un-miss able hits
RNG EVD: the chance of missing a ranged attack from enemies
LUCK: the chance of doing critical hits,( it can also be used on negotations during terrority wars)
COUNTER RATE: the chance of countering any hit
GAURD EFFECT: bonus damage reduction during defense
RECOVERY EFFECT: bonus HP and AP when defending or using heal item
DOUBLE ACTION= chance of having a second turn.
as for other states aren't that important or you already know
REGEN RATE: either recover HP,AP or RP per turn

this screen shoot gives you the differences of each mode with bonuses it has ( some informations are outdated and related to that version, otherwise the rest are the same)
NOTE: on new versions you'll get ace and crocodile card with the starter pack (You'll need them later)

i know you'll study and memorize the chest type by the time passing and i know no one will see this so ignore it
---------------------------------CARDS
ABBREVIATION & CLASS-------------------------
some cards are duplicated and i have to add an indicator to thus i'll name cards type like the following:
ATK=attacker card
DEF=defender card
TRK=trickster card
[N]=any card with default states
[R]= Refined battle cards are improved version of normal cards
[E]= either it means:
ENCHANCED= cards with the same refined cards' state with a bonus
EVOKED=unlocks ultimate for some characters
TRAINED/MASTRED=like refined cards for summon/ancient cards
each class has a max card lvl that can equip according to it's class, and they are like the following:
-rookie = lvl 2 cards
-superem = lvl 3 cards
-enormous= lvl 4 cards
-epic = lvl 5 cards
- legendary (ex: dragon)= all cards, including unavailable cards (some have locked card slot(s))
note that weapon cards aren't affected by the class.
-PRO TIP: On "Hard" difficulty there is a certain trick where you can break this limitation to most characters, but instead of telling you how to do it, find it out for your self. (Hint: you need brook to obtain 4 Important items,then train your crew for it)
- general tips:
- here are some tips and tricks for both new and amateurs players :
-if you watched the actual anime/read manga you'll get an idea about enemies attack type and element, otherwise it's won't be that hard to study his attacks types
-study enemies' elemental weakness and bad statues, some have a good resistance against most of them
-make sure to not ignore a crew member because from a side there may be a challenge that requires that character and from the other side you may be forced to use him in some part of camping (i.g event battles)
-try to always have enough healing item and provisions, you will get black potion from stealing black pirates while provision is generated every time you start a terority war with "supply" ship mod.
-don't consume healing items every battle, use them only if the character is about to die, the same goes with provisions
-make sure to upgrade your cards when you have enough berry, and don't judge cards by their lvl, ability or ultimate, some are useful in hard situations
-Remember the order of the opponent's skills Each boss has 1-2 skills that must be executed every turn
- The opponent's Ultimate Skill has a cooldown(expect kuro) at least 3 turns.
Take advantage to heal and defense before the next Ultimate opponent. otherwise kill him before he use it
-you can have an auto heal effect by equip zoan DF card (refine card), and you can have double turns by using robin TRK card(R gives you a better chance of double turn)
-you have to find a good base that has a HQ, sailing port and stone keep(so you won't lose the other buildings) syrup village is the best place to it
-don't build conqueror gate on areas that stronger factions attack it especially cocyasci village, it'll make your training harder
-when beating the camping mode you can take louge town as a training ground. or you can use colosum and tower of conqueror, they give many XP at the cost of hard fights (especially for supreme classes)
-open the card booster you have wisely, (they have a small chance to give good lvl 3-4 cards). especially myth ones
they are limited (pro tip use 2 of myth boosters later to get law card, which is the only way to get it) to get them you can buy them in vendors or steal them from beast pirates and black beard pirates. while myth from beating some bosses or on some side quests, in v4.20 or higher you can get them from tournament mode (including the myth booster)
-summon skill is the slowest in the game but can wipe out most of enemies (if RNG state was high enough)
-very later in the game, you can get rare lvl 4/5 cards (by chance) from tower of conqueror
-sometimes you can steal weapon cards from challenges you can't beat and use them
-napoleon weapon card can reflect magic which means if you are debuffed it has a chance to revert it to the enemy

EAST BLUE
- east blue:
- give a good name to your crew so you get +2 bonus lvls when recruiting new characters (expect the conquest ones)
-the starter pack is all up to you, if you are new to this game chose weapon pack or heal items pack, if you are a returning player chose refine cards pack otherwise you are free if you are pro
-from the start until louge town everything is easy too much i can't explain more than that expect finishing conqueror tasks and focusing on some following points:(beside beating all areas near each area)
1-SHELLS TOWN:if you suffer from high damage from marines and you don't own a lot of cards keep only 1 gunner (if he is there) and keep defending, you'll heal your self without using healing items
2-ORANG TOWN:
-buggy has a high evade against melee attacks and good def against slash thus kill him faster using ranged skills
3-SYRUP VILLAGE:
-go to weapon store and buy ''ginga pachinko''
-jango is hiding in the forest near the wooden chest then he will flee to the south east, if you beat him a chest with usopp card will appear
-build and upgrade a trading port and buy heavy and explore ship mods (you can buy the other mods later)
-once you beat the game return to weapon shop to get a [L] weapon
4-BARATIE
-obtain sanji bromide (if you can't find it enter to weapon upgrader and locate it) and upgrade ''ginga pachinko''
-fight mihawk , it's impossible to win but you'll get some bonuses
-if you have regen poition use it to heal from poison effect (so you won't run out of AP too fast)
5-ARLONG PARK
-to get mohomo summon card you have to beat him inside the whirlpools, it has a ranged attack so use INT cards and go berserker then debuff his end and beat him faster, repeat that in the rest of whirlpools to get the card
-to beat chew summon mohomo to wipe out all fishmen (and slow chew) then use gunpowder star to beat him (you can wildrage him to gain some time healing)
-arlong has a strong melee damage so use END cards
6-LOUGE TOWN:
-beat all pirates and buggy pirates before the timer runes out [pro tip if you have 14k berry (you can find 10k in south path near dark dungeon (outside) ) go to weapon shop and get 2 zoro's swords (and start a side quest)]
-DON'T FIGHT smoker, and escape to escape point without letting anything delay you, you'll get some help if you reach there)
-you can find tashigi bromide in the north east of louge town while smoker bromide is found south escape point (if and ONLY IF you are on faction war)
-you'll unlock east blue challenge, play the first ones to get more bonuses (including characters' cards)
-buy faster ship mod (optional)
- grand line 1:
7-REVERSE MOUNTAIN:
-pick up END cards and play trickster or defender (expect usopp let him in shelter) laboon attack hits all the crew with low accuracy
-DO the side quest the intruders are found upper right of the screen (or right the exit)
PREPARATION: buy and upgrade X2 steel katana
8-WHEASKY PEAK:
-you'll fight as zoro when you reach the village so unequip all cards that boost INT/END from the crew
-MR5 has a very good RNG damage so equip X2 steel katana , go breseker and defeat MRS. valentine 1st then focus on mr5, speed blows/galting combo will help you
-the battle against luffy is all up to you ( it won't be a game over if you lose however, if you beat him faster you will get DEF zoro card which will help you later)
-luffy's class will increase allowing him to equip another TRK card, and zoro's class will also be upgraded allowing him to equip DEF card
9-LITTLE GARDEN:
-you formation should be ''luffy-zoro-nami-usopp''
-to open the red chest open the 2 purple chests first
-Defeat the cloned MR3 the real one is in the middle, so save some AP for him and for MR5
-If you have done the conqueror mark task sanji will het 10K EXP, and in both cases his rank will be upgraded allowing him to equip another ATK card
-Usopp's class will also increase allowing him to equip another TRK card
10-DRUM KINGDOM:
-if you want to follow the anime/manga exclude nami from the crew otherwise you are free, but she will leave the crew before the boss battle
-find chopper card before the boss battle
-the battle against wapol is all up to you, in hard mode he may surprise you with his summon skill
( when you beat the boss there is a hiding assist card between the item shop and potion shop)
-Nami's class will be upgraded allowing her to equip another TRK card, she'll and also unlock 2 new skills related to the next chapter so either follow the anime/manga or play directly the 2nd challenge of east blue log.
PREPARATION:
-obtain the following ultimats ''dragon twist,(in case you still don't have it),mouton shoot , thunderstorm tempo and GG no fusen(optional)''
-reach the crew lvl at minimum to 25
-finish the 1st dungeon (optional) and the following quest ( you can finish them before and more of them):''demon wish'' ''become human'' ''primary needs'' and black market quest
and stock healing/revive items if you are low on them of course
11-ALABAST:
-fight all pirates you may find MR1 there ( with a small chance to drop zoro DEF card, and YOU WON'T FIND HIM IN HARD MODE)
-robin has a melee type attacks (despite the animations) and since she is in defender she won't deal as much damage as in attacker row
-crocodile (event battle) is found in conqueror gate (or a white trailed circle with blue point on it) you won't win but it'll make the boss battle easier
-if you already fight crocodile you will fight smoker as ace, you won't be able to equip cards to him (again ) so play on shelter for more damage
-you will fight MR2 and MRS double finger as nami and sanji (so make sure you prepare END cards) you have to focus on defeating MR2 you can stun him using thunder bolt or brochet blow (the same goes with double finger)
and after you defeat him you are free to whether follow the anime/manga or cheat and fight 2 vs 1
-crocodile had good RNG attack (but not as strong as in the event battle) so focus on earth/wind def , poison resistance helps too, you can play aggressively or defense(without dropping your INT) , use mohomo summon card to slow crocodile in case he is too fast
12-JAYA ISLAND:
-to beat bellamy under 3 turns (for more rewards) increase your RNG and go shelter and beat him with GG no shotgun
-the rest of east blue challenges will be easy
13-SKYPIA:
-This is a great chance of increasing a character's lvl since the battles in there gives more XP, especially against wiper(he will appear twice )
-if you enter the cave ther will be 2 red chests, using themovies i saw andthe game's logic there must be a fake on, the real one (with summon card) is in the wall while the fake is near the green chest (you better fight it later)
-Enel has a strong thunder damage so either pick up INT or END cards (since he will mix between range and melee skills) his ultimate and ''100M volt amaru'' may kill a character with a weak thunder defense so be careful
-on HARD mode he is really strong, and he may use a powerful melee skill, and when his HP reaches 0 he'll use a special skill to recover his health so be careful
-after beating him you'll unlock grand line challenges (the 1st one is a bit hard and you may need to finish water 7 to play it)
-go and buy silver star ship mods and make sure you have ''faster'' mod
- grand line 2:
14-LONG RING LONG LAND:
-finish the the donut race (the reward is a ''MUST HAVE'' for a side quest) to do this you must have a faster ship mod, and make sure that you are racing a hot air balloon and not another ship (reload every time it's a ship)
-fight Aokiji, there is no way to beat him but you'll get a card booster ( use steal ability to get a myth booster from him)
-the battle against foxy is all up to you
15-WATER 7:
-in this chapter robin and usopp will leave the crew (you'll understand if you watch the anime)
-fight all marines including the ones at each entrance, it may be rough fights but it's worth it in long term.
-fight usopp (if you want to beat him hard use RNG cards and GG no shotgun, his HP as foe and as ally is the same)
the timer will be ''glitched'' and sets back to 19 MIN
-go the entrance in the left, then go to the cracked wall in north of the city, marines may ambush you on your way so don't fight them all (especially if you want to reach before 12 MIN for bonuses)
-no way to beat Rob Lucci (even if you reduce his HP, his leopard form will make him stronger with high evade)
-go to sea train and unlock Enis looby
PREPARATION:
since you already saw lucci power it'll be astupidhorrible idea to directly fight him isn't it?
-obtain the following ultimate skills : ''flame star'' , ''GG no fusen(in case you still don't have it)'' and ''three sword stance''
-obtain X2 [E] daz bones cards
-finish all NPCs quests (expect trade in heaven) and beat rock dungeon Boss ( one of them rewards a myth booster use it to get zoro DEF card (unless you already got it from the one in LRLL)
-obtain chaka card from armor booster
-make sure that luffy and zoro lvls are 40 at minimum
-stock more revive and medical kits SP
-unlock all skills for sanji (in case the last one is veau shoot)
-if you want you can buy [R] kabuto from weapon shop at water 7 and upgrade it .
16-ENIS LOOBY:
starting from this chapter and on, luffy will get 4 new skills (2 upgraded) while zoro and sanji will get 2 new skills
-in this chapter you'll have a pre-selected formation with a 4th character select , the pre-selcted formation is ''luffy-zoro-sniper king(usopp)-XX''
-if you want to play defensive train and select chopper and give him chaka card (so he can be haler and END buffer) otherwise select sanji for offensive battle (in that case let luffy use chaka card with a rage regen IF possible)
-destroy all flags before the timer runs out to do this, find a smart way to burn them from the south east to south west and pass by the ones above (it may be tricky but you'll quickly understand) don't fight marines because they will delay you (they are weak but it's a waste of time other wise beat them soo fast)
-kakue event battle will appear after burning all flags on time, he mostly uses ranged attacks (storm leg techniques)
so pick up INT cards for zoro and put him from trickester to attacker acording to your INT state (don't forget he has melee skills too), Debuff his PWR to recive less damage from his melee skills and ultimate skill. and heal yourself using swordman stance/three sword stance (otherwise use medical kits SP if you can't pull the ultimate skill) you can use ''flying dragon base'' and ''flaming demon slash'' it deals more damage to him. keep doing that until you win (and don't let your def and debuff down) so you remove a heavy job from the boss battle, in this spoiler i'll give you the cards formation i used (not 100% effective but handful) it should finish him off easly (with less medical kit SP consumption)- cards formation:
this should give zoro high INT and SPD, but it'll help if you give the candies that boost INT
- wado ichimoji [L]
- X2 steel katana [E]
- X2 Helempo
- shotgun pirate [E]
- zoro DEF card [E]
you can also try this card formation that gives you a great slash def at the cost of your AP and some of your END (in that case play defender/trickster) in case you badly don't want to use myth booster
-- wado ichimoji [L]
- X2 steel katana [E]
-X2 daz bones [E]
- Helempo
-zoro DEF card [E] (or another card with good INT)
-make sure to equip best END cards you have (usopp card with ''coward'' skill will also help)
-you have already seen Rob Lucci skills in water 7 so you have an idea about them. make the whole crew in shelter row and use warcy more often and debuff his PWR and RNG and END (PWR to reduce damage from ''finger pistol: yellow lotus/speckels'' and RNG to reduce damage from his storm legs while END to deal more melee damage) if someone is killed by yellow lotus/speckels revive and heal him imidiatly so he can help in the battle (and recive EXP ofc) at low HP he (30%-25%) he will transform into leopard form making his damage (and ultimate skill) more powerfull, if you find his weakness use it at your advantage, otherwise stun him and get some time or cancel his next skill, and keep healing and reviving and using warcy/coward and ultimate skills more often until you win. good luck in there
-you will unlock ''off-screen challenge'' and ''luffy's fight challenge'' in nightmare mode
-you will unlock the haki refine cards which will help you in marines camping
-THOUSAND SUNNY BUILDING:
after beating Lucci you have to build thousand sunny to continue advancing in the camping and here how to get X2 adam woods:
1-go to the nearest trading port and buy ''wing'' ship mod and open the chest near the shipwright
2-go to skypia and defeat the gold eater for arcanum dust, then go back to water dungeon and steal magic dust from jellies after that craft them in shipwright in water 7
( you'll no longer need wooden and silver ship mods, so it's suggested to sell them and obtain gold ship mods)
NOTE: here are other methods to get the arcanum dust (Just in case you need it for something else...) if you can't buy wing ship mod or want to evade fighting the goldeater (despite of the fact that it isn't too important in this part)- spoiler:
-Flying Blitz Light Dungeon (easiest one, if you ask me)
-Destroyer Lava Dungeon (navigation ship mod is required)
-GX06D4 Ice Dungeon (navigation ship mod is also required)
-Forest Wrath from Wind Dungeon, but if you look at ancient beasts section below you will find out that it's better to not go there since your crew is too weak.
-try to play and complete marines camping (bloodlust , tactical and full armor pirates cards are useful)
-obtain an E brook card
-obtain smoker card (if you already have and gave it to smoker just remove that card)
-obtain 1/2 helempo ATK card (R/E will be handfull)
-obtain usopp's 2nd ultimate (optional,new versions only, but you can beat this part without it)
17-THRILL BARK:
VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:
-This is the only chapter where you can save from the camp directly, however DON'T SAVE IF YOU FELL THAT YOU WON'T WIN (or at leaste save in another direction) OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE FORCED TO RESTART THE GAME.
-you'll have a pre-select formation for the 2nd (and last) time which is like the following :''luffy-zoro-brook-XX'' thus either chose sanji (min lvl 38) or usopp (min lvl 41 because of low hp)
-enjoy 10 mins with N.Luffy and try to get as much zombie cards as possible (you'll sink 50%-60% of their ships during that period) (NOTE: In newer versions N.Luffy's LVL was harshely decreased, which make you run out of AP too fast so consume his AP wisely)
-ryuma has the same skills of brook (if you watch the anime/manga you'll know why) so increase as much END as you can (since his ''swallow bond en avant'' is the strongest attacks) you can either play shelter or defender and using fire based skills and heal, if you win a chest with sushui sword may drop (if i remember correctly) otherwise if you see you can't win against him (especially the event battle is only for once ) use sham card and steal his weapon until you defeat the boss( you can win battle by increasing the counter rate but it isn't highly recommended) and equip the sword. but at the end of the chapter in the newer versions the chest will appear even if you lose, so i would much rather save healing items for main event/ bosd fight.
-Perona (and her clones) will try to make you weaker by ''negative hollow'' and '' double negative hollow'' before they strike you out( usopp is the only one who can't be debuffed by that skill since he is already weak )
so increase you INT and dark defense (pick up zombie cards) and put them on berserker row (expect sanji/usopp who should be in shelter row) to win the battle defend and wait until you charge enough RP for brook's ultimate(use trust skill to speed up the job) then make them asleep then strike one clone with a strong melee skill or with a fire based skill (flam kicks for sanji and gunpowder star/unluckies for usopp or other [Fire] skills), if usopp is faster than her use his new 2nd ultimate to gain RNG evade bonus for your crew. repeat the same until you defeat them all. good luck
-equip smoker card to luffy (recomended, if his SPD is high) or to other character(expect brook and zoro OFC)
-moria has a strong ranged dark based attacks, his brick bats swarm can RIP off the whole crew at once (especially if he debuff you max HP ) to beat defend until brook's ultimate is ready then make him asleep, you'll get some time to revive the crew and seal him. and this is the issue with strong SEASTONE DEF it'll be hard task, so it'll be good to have X2 smoker/helempo card equiped ( so eithet refill brook's RP quickly, or double chanced for sealing the boss.but i prefer the 1st method.) when he is sealed you'll gain time and damage him hard until the effect is gone then make him asleep again, and try to sel him again anf so on until you win (well, it'll be a waste of time but it's the only way to repel his killer skills). good luck
-robin class will increase allowing her to equip ancient cards.
PREPARATION:
-remove all cards from the whole crew (expect luffy, zoro and sanji)
-find robin TRK card and refine it ( if you are lucky you can find ATK franky card)
18-SABODY ARCHIPELAGO :
this is the last chapter in the story where you fight with your crew and you won't meet them until you beat the camping mode (in other words finish the last chapter)
-make your formation like the following ''luffy-zoro-XX-sanji'' (XX=character from your choice)
-fight kid and law to recruit them TEMPORARLY to the crew( fight kid first than law, more informations are found in marines camping section below(the same goes with low)) INT cards are obligated
-you can test their skills on EX pirates/marines otherwise go to the victory point you won't need arsenal this time
-kizaru is a melee fighter (despite some animations) there is no way to beat him but don't lose to him easily you have to survive for 12 turns (in other words when the crew are about to make their 12th turn) so increase your END and light defense as much as you can (200 is more than enough) you have to go shelter and buff your defense (kid and law already have an END buffing so use strong guard EX for luffy) and try to defend until you reach 12 turns
- if you already played 1st encounter (in off screen challenges) you'll be able to study kizaru's skills (and kuma skills) otherwise here is an idea about his skills :logia defense, distract skill (he may repeat it many times) X2 slash skills (one of them has 1 hit and the other has 3 hits to a single target (but if you play on "Easy" difficulty WHIO CARES ?!))and the hand-icape is his last X2 skills ''light beams'' and ''greater light beams'' and since the crew has a very weak light resistance it has a high chance to kill a character with HP below 4k , thus robin TRK card is highly recommended, and franky ATK card in case you own it (logia DF refine card also help but with a decent protection in lvl 1) and you have to revive/heal just after he use those 2 deadly skills
-kuma has the same skills of pacifista (since they are look-like) with some bonus skills, but it won't be as hard as kizaru fight, just balance your END and INT and defend against his laser beams and ''thurst presure canon'' and survive for many turns. good luck
( you won't get any exp when finishing the battles so sacrifices are allowed (expect luffy))
19-AMAZON LILY:
-If you have enough arsenal don't sink marines ship and go to boss directly
-to win hancock heart, defend her attacks for several turns ( you'll get an idea about her skills and attacks type in marines camping) and remember, she can't make luffy a statue.
Pro tip : after you finish this part, the cards shop in skypia will be opened, buy straw hat crews' cards and unlock the new cards in UE-SP (the ultimate skills are powerful and useful) but due to low berry you have, better buy them all when you beat the camping.
20-IMPEL DOWN:
You will no longer need arsenal since it's a multi boss battles
-delivery hancock to impel down without harming her means that you should never fight EX pirate by your self or it'll be game over if you die.
-Escape from the ancient beast if you feel that you won't beat them, but at least steal the card boosters and the items they have (buggy will assist you on lvl 2)
-magelan will wipe you out with his cloro balls ( and "hydra" ocassionaly ) just pick up high INT cards and E don krieg and/or E nami's 2nd card and wait until you get the conqueror mark (so the boss battle will be easy), the best way to survive is to rely on luck (your own luck not the state) but if you find a better cards formation don't be shy to share it here.
-black beard will enter impel down to recruit new allies, and it'll be a good opportunity to revenge for capturing Ace (watch the anime to understand) if you already had a battle against black beard in drum kingdom you'll have an idea about his skills and attack types otherwise he is a ranged fighter with dark based skills so you know what your allies should equip, the advantage you have is jinbe skills that can seal him (you increase the chance of sealing him by using smoker card, but i don't advice you to use it in this case) , crocodile who can slow him down and debuff his max HP, and buggy who can provoke him or stun him (by a small chance) all i can say is focus on INT and use revive/healing items in the right time and keep sealing/provoking him until you win very good luck .
PREPARATION:
-You won't beat this unless you have GG no fusen ultimate skill.
21-MARINES HQ:(the last one)
-fight coby, you already know his skills and what to do (in hard mode he has slightly high EVD)
Note: you can do the same trick you did in previous part, but it's risky in the following fights:
-you already fought smoker many times but this time he'll have the same states of louge town (when he captures you there) so if ,you feel that it'll be hard defend for the whole 12 trunes
-mihawk will also have the same states of baratie (with mostly triple actions) don't forget about [E] Daz bones cards and buggy's power point and use him as a shield and keep defending
-survive against kuma is all up to you ( If luffy is dead at the end of the fight it'll be game over)
-good luck on escaping from the admirals (you'll need it so much ), if could survive the battle you'll get the conqueror mark (optional, because it's insane as hell)
-according to the story, thebadmiral will kill ace, and so there is"ALMOST"no way to beat him. however in version 4.14 or older they both have fire immunity, luckly i found the solution of this problem (you can do it in current version, but with less chances )
Easy way: let ace die in the battle before the admiral fight then let the admiral kill luffy (you may need to use steal abillty to get a special item )
HARD and Long way(old versions only): equip smoker card for ace and full PWR cards to him and to luffy, then try to seal the admiral (very small chance) when he is sealed he won't be recovered (as if he is frozen but the effect is not removed in strong hits or provoked/wildrage and his AP is 0 (which remindes me of older versions )) and keep striking him with melee in berserker row until you kill him(the battle will be tooo long thanks to the boss' high EVD rate)
you'll be rewarded for killing the admiral (unless you steal him), but since the mission ends in failure in the anime, YOU WON'T GET ANY REWARDS FOR HARD WORK! well.....unless you play the new version where he becomes playable at TOQ.
when you finish the game you'll unlock the rest of nighmare challenges and Black Beard camping, good luck on reaching to the max lvl to all crew mates
-pro tip : at latest versions, the max lvl of most characters had sharply increase, which give you a small boost to complete nightmare challanges
-pro tip 2 : some chests with some missable bromides will appear, for more informati on check out the 'bromide" section below
NOTE: the other factions mission are have 2 purposes (beside the classic boss fight): finish a task under time limit or survive for many turns.
marines camping tells the adventure of coby and some strong marines officers in serving justice. the story starts from the end of sabody chapter until the war of marines HQ, you'll unlock this faction at the end of east blue saga but it's advised to finish it after Enis looby chapter, the beginning may be hard but it'll be easier if you follow the instructions
PROLOGUE:
- Prologue:
- you can play the prologue when you unlock the faction, and the task is easy: defeat helemppo 3 times
the 1st time is done by luffy the 2nd time is a piece of the cack, the real challenge is in the 3rd time (where coby and helemppo are well trained) you just need some END and RNG boost and use storm leg skills to win ( you obtain coby card from garp's ship area)
- marines camping:
PREPARATION:
-finish Enis looby chapter to unlock haki refine cards
-get E coby , helemppo and tashigi cards
-finish the 2nd grand line challenge to unlock tashigi swords(optional, but it'll help you in the mission 1 and 2)
-unequip INT cards from the other faction (if needed)
M1-SABODY ARCHIPELAGO:
-recruit tashigi and give her ''yamaoroshi[L]'' weapon card (otherwise raise her speed)
-sink all pirates ships (to rais the crew lvl from a side and getting a good bonus from the other side)
-kid is a RNG fighter, and since the crew HP is below 2k-3k it'll be an issue to survive for long turns, to beat him provoke him using ''taunt'' and ''whirlwind'' skills then strike him out with your ultimate skills ( foxy cards are your best friends in this mission)
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:
-DO NOT play the next mission until you defeat kid otherwise you'll make them harder for you!!
PREPARATION:
-obtain E smoker card
M2-THRILL BARK:
-here you have to find and defeat jinbe before the timer runs out (it'll be off in the boss fight) smoker will join your crew in this mission, if you already defeat kid you'll obtain a special advantage , which is new skill for the trio
-jinbe has a mix of ranged and melee water based attacks (Ranged mostly) and again, since the trio HP still lower than 3k-4k it'll be an issue, the trick of beating him is to stun him using smoker's stun skills/ultimate skill , debuffing his END is good for melee fighters, the exact time to heal and revive is when jinbee is stuned (grand healing ultimate will do the work faster). good luck
M3-IMPEL DOWN:
-your mission is soo easy, drop jinbe in the prison, of course such mission has obstacles however DON'T FIGHT MARCO BY ANY MEAN, otherwise it's all up to you
M4-MARINES HQ:(the last one)
-if you are afraid of losing in this part you can remove some cards from straw hats otherwise you'll be fine
-as a preparation select and sink 5 ships from your choices then white bread comes to cause havocs but aokiji freezes the area and the war starts
-it'll be a crazy idea to defeat all the bosses in the crew's current lvl but you still have to reduce 25%-30% of their HP
-jozo is a melee fighter but that isn't important since you can quickly reduce his HP
-the crew will block luffy's path to save ace, and you know his skills so well so it's all up to you (he won't use 2nd gear skills ) until ''his love'' counter attack you
-hancock has a mix of melee and ranged hits (here she will use Ranged hits mostly) the only problem is that her skills can make you statues so reduce her HP ASAP
-according to the anime/manga coby will be shocked when marines and white bread pirates still fighting despite marines' main mission is done, so he asked them to stop increasing the deaths but the admiral gets angry and try to kill him but coby is saved in the last minute. if you already watched the anime and know who it's a great opportunity otherwise it's all up to you ( in that fight you'll have to reduce the boss HP to 50%)
-of course this hardworking won't end without a gift for marines officers ( even dead crew mates will receive the reward so it won't harm to do some sacrifices in the last 2 matches)
-good luck on your adventures on getting vice admiral rank (tip: this is the only way to get bloodlust, full armor and tactical pirates cards to help you beating straw hat camping) and train smoker hard, you'll need him in a challenge in nightmare mode
this faction is unlocked when you finish grand line saga, thus expect it to be hard and enhanced cards and ultimate cards (optional but handful) are highly recommended, this faction shows the adventure of black beard and his crew, as well as his devilish plan to assassinate white bread and take both his power and position.
ADVENTAGES AND DISADVENTAGES
- pros and cons:
- this faction has some differences than the other factions like the following:
PROS:
-you will directly start with 4 members instead of recruiting each in separated areas
-the crew initial lvl is [24-29] instead of lvl 1.
-you can have the reversed ambush attack (read the tip in the game for more informations)
-the crew are strong with their unique skills
-the states of the crews signature cards are helpful.
CONS:
-ship mods are disabled in this faction thus expect the raft to be slow
-almost no one in the crew can use ultimate skill, however their signature cards are so effective (especially the enhanced ones)
-some bosses are so strong and require L weapons and better E cards (especially the last mission)
-there aren't many areas to conquer nor respawning ships so sinking all ships in the area is the only way to increase your lvl (E zombie cards can help you in this)
-there aren't also dungeons for training like marines camping
-almost no one can use ultimate skill, and you'll only get 1 card of each memeber during the camping (so you are forced to open myth boosters to get E ones)
-The only area that you can use the camp is the starting point, in other words you can't use provition in this camping (thus stock as much healing items as you can)
-for HARD Mode, they are excluded from fairy vearth orb bonus.
- black beard camping:
the number of missions are slightly more than marines so don't let the quest log deceive you because it has ''reach to X place''
1-???:
-all beginnings are good, EXPECT THIS ONE. , the task may be easy in quest log but if you play , you will wish that you either hack the game and remove this mission or tear up the developer apart (well it's a joke so don't ban me please )
-ace and his crew are chasing you and the escape point is a bit far and the raft is slow compared to ace ships and to top it the chance of escaping the battle is low (even if you did it he will keep catching you), thus try to do what i say until you success in it: go to the south path under the rocks and sink 2 pirate ships as maximum then let the other ships block ace's path and try to reach the escape point, it's a luck based mission so good luck because you will need it
-after that go to jaya island (the boss fight in drum kingdom is easy so i'll skip that part)
2-JAYA ISLAND
-according to the anime, black beard fail in catching staw hats who raided the knock up stream to sky island, but since the developer edit the scene as usual you are forced to beat them, thus focus on a very high END and a good INT (150 min 300 max for both, ultimate card also helps) ''anti-logia'' skill should help against ranged attacks, then focus on killing usopp then zoro then the rest (if it wasn't helpful enough PM me and i'll share the card formation to you)
3-BENARO ISLAND:
-this is less difficult from the curd you had earlier, you already know ace skills so you know what to equip
-to make it easier seal ace (using smoker card skill) and stun him (with dark curse) until you win
-be carful from ace ultimate when his HP is below 40%(most likely when the seal effect is over), it will kill black beard if you don't defend it while your HP is lower than 6,5K. once he use it kill him quickly before he pull it again (small chance for another ultimate but don't drop your defs)
PREPARATION:
-make sure that the whole crew reached lvl 34 before the next mission
4-IMPEL DOWN:
-this mission is exactly the same of straw hat camping , however in this mission instead of escaping until the 6th stage you MUST kill all bosses to advance otherwise it's game over, so those battles are all up to you
-you can train the crew by sinking the pirate ships nearby for XP boost
-again, it's impossible to defeat magelan however you MUST survive his chloro balls for almost the same number of turns in straw hat camping (in case you finished conqueror mark you'll know) if laffite reached lvl 35 spam lullaby and def until the battle is over
-while black beard recruit new members luffy and his allies stop by him, and since you fought him in straw hat camping it'll make sense to refight them as black beard (you won't be alone) if you insist to defeat them (if you have enough time due to battle length) make jinbe asleep and seal crocodile and stun him, as for luffy and buggy it shouldn't be a problem, even if the timer reaches 0 ivankov will fight magelan allowing you to escape on time
NOTE: the main goal of the mission is to reach lvl 6 and if you lose the fight then it's game over. HOWEVER if you are overtaken by time it won't be a game over but you'll get some bonus for defeating them (optional since it isn't a side mission)
5(the last and the INSANEST)-MARINES HQ:
-the battle against newgate is all up to you (show me how you'll beat him without my help but i may mercy you when i remember the cards fromation so please wait orshare it here if you don't mind)
-you'll obtain teach ultimate by defeating him

M=missable o(n v4.22a or higher you can get some missable bromides from chests when you beat the game.)

-PRIMARY NEEDS= if you can't (or you are too lazy to) collect threads from venonsakers in dark dungeon, just go to item shop in orange town and cocyasci town and use nami skills to steal linen from them (they won't see you)
-SUMMER VACATION = dawn grape is found when you beat donut race quest
-TRADE IN HEAVEN = if it's too hard for you to craft silver just go to syrup village and obtain it from a chest (using wing mod)
-HOMECOMING= nothing interesting in it, it's just an indicator that after beating alabast some areas will add new chests, it is activated when you get golden chest in starting point
-LAW OF THE JUNGLE= X Drake is just found at the bottom of where you activated the quest
-GHOST OF THE SEA = the key is found in a chest far south alvida base
-ABANDONED MINE= the same area of the quest above
-ANCIENT BEAST RAID= beat 8 elemental bosses
as for quest 16, if you play on V4.20 or higher, Tower of Conqueror can be unlocked by interacting with tower south arlong park (where you meet SKY OVERLORD for the 1sr time) , as for older versions it is only for hard mode players thus i share it to you (sorry)- ancient bosses locations:
E= easy, beatable before alabasta (lvl 15-20)
M= mediuem, beatable after water 7 (lvl 25-40)
H= hard, beatable when finishing the game (lvl 40 and on if you have strong cards)
I= insane, either requires maxed lvl and better cards or use admirals in marines camping

- with the bad memory i can't remember the name of the sigle but i can hint it's location, to find it keep getting closer to rocks, walls and cracked walls when you are almost there the character will react
silver sigels locations: water dungeon - rock dungeon - fire dungeon - wind dungeon
the other ancient sigels are found in the rest of dungeons (expect light dungeon)
- PANDAMAN LOCATIONS:
IMPORTANT MODE:
Implicitly this quest is for HARD Mode players only since one of them is hiding inside a secret dungeon which can not be entred in other modes, but i'll be clever enough to share them.
pandaman have strict appearnce order, so it won't show in area B until you find them in area A, i made sacerfices to find and memorise the locations IN ORDER so be greatfull

-the place where you put the elemental crystals (HARD mode only)

Mann, this is awesome! Ik, this game is a fanmade, but I had great time with One Piece TD IV war of thrones during long vacation. It's even greater than official op games out there. Just look at these tips and tricks visitor has just shared, the game has deep and unique mechanic, but still remained faithful to the manga lore. I vote this! Keep it up, bro!

t has been a year since i wrote this guide because i was too bussy and had no time to check out the game, but this post got 530 viewer for an old version do thanks for reading, i tought the bew updates would be only glitch fixes but when i saw minor changes, i decided to update the topic so it can fit the new version though it canceled my plan to share glitchs that would help players but i'll try to find & share alternative way to win with current version ( so PM me if you play old version) i also planned to share card formations of nightmare mode if it wasn't that glitch which removed my progress
